The Mishimoto Baffled Oil Catch Can is a compact, 2-port system designed to separate oil particles from PCV/CCV air before it enters your intake. Constructed from 100% billet 6061 aluminum, it features a 50-micron bronze filter and internal baffling to enhance oil separation.

This catch can defends your intercooler, intake system, and other essential components from damaging oil blow-by. It helps maintain proper octane levels to reduce potential detonation and is safe for pressurized applications. The unit features one inlet and one outlet, with M16 x 1.5 threads, and includes two 1/2-inch barbed aluminum fittings for easy installation.

This process is crucial for protecting vital components such as the intercooler and intake manifold from harmful oil blow-by, which can degrade performance and lead to potential engine issues. Constructed from durable, 100% billet 6061 aluminum, this catch can features a sealed design for maximum integrity. It employs a finely tuned internal air diverter to increase air turbulence, ensuring that oil condenses and collects at the bottom. A 50-micron bronze filter further cleans the air before it returns to the intake, while an internal baffle prevents oil from splashing around, even under aggressive driving conditions. Installation is made straightforward with a universal mounting bracket, allowing for flexible positioning. The catch can features one inlet and one outlet with M16 x 1.5 threads, and includes two black anodized, CNC-machined aluminum 1/2-inch barbed fittings. Viton™ O-Rings ensure a secure seal, preventing any captured blow-by from escaping. Unlike some air-oil separator (AOS) systems, Mishimoto's catch cans are not heated, allowing for the condensation of low-octane oil vapors and contaminated fuel vapors. These captured contaminants are trapped permanently, rather than being drained back into the oil pan, offering a cleaner solution for engine health.
