The IE Engineering Vent To Atmosphere Catch Can provides a universal solution for preventing crankcase oil fumes from contaminating your engine's intake system. Its state-of-the-art baffle system effectively separates oil from crankcase pressure, keeping your engine bay cleaner and your engine running more efficiently. The aluminum construction, finished with a black anodize, offers a sleek, stealthy appearance. Constructed from in-house CNC machined aluminum, this catch can features two high-flow 1/2" NPT thread inlets, allowing for versatile connection to various fittings and adapters for a custom installation. A convenient bottom-mount drain plug is included for easy servicing, though a no-tool T-handle drain is sold separately. IE also provides optional straight or 90-degree mounting brackets to simplify installation in any engine bay. IE offers direct-fit catch can kits for many VW and Audi engines separately. In areas with sub-freezing temperatures, condensation can freeze, leading to crankcase pressure build-up. Users in cold weather climates should check catch can contents frequently or consider removing the system during winter months. Integrated Engineering is not responsible for damage caused by improper servicing. Furthermore, this product is not currently legal for road use in California due to emissions compliance.
