The ADD W1 Oil Catch Can Kit is engineered to prevent oil particles from the PCV/CCV system from transferring back into your air intake. This direct-fit kit is specifically designed for the Ford Explorer ST 3.0L EcoBoost, covering model years 2020-2024. Constructed from high-grade 6061 aircraft aluminum, the catch can is lightweight and durable. This system helps keep the intake, intercooler, and throttle body clean, preventing carbon and sludge buildup. The filter and can are fully serviceable, and the unit has a capacity of up to 150ml of oil. Installation is made straightforward with the included custom mounting bracket, screws, and pre-cut, high-performance vacuum hose. The kit utilizes OEM factory fittings for a secure and reliable connection. This closed-loop system operates in-line with the PCV system, effectively separating oil particles.
