This catch can is an essential addition for modified or high-performance vehicles seeking to reduce intake contamination. Constructed from durable, aircraft-grade aluminum, this 300ml capacity catch can features an internal baffle system that increases the surface area for steam condensation, leading to more effective oil capture. It helps prevent carbon build-up on valves, thereby protecting the engine and extending its lifespan. The design includes a user-friendly drain valve and a washable internal filter for straightforward maintenance. The hose length is 31.5 inches (0.8m) with an ID of 3/8" and OD of 2/3". The inlet and outlet threads are M16*1.5. Users should be aware that in freezing temperatures, moisture can build up and potentially freeze, posing a risk. To mitigate this, it is recommended to clean the oil catch can weekly or install the original PCV hose. The catch can can be installed with or without a breather filter, depending on whether it's for pre-PCV cars as a vent system or in-line between PCV hoses as a seal can.
