The IE MK5 & MK6 2.0T TSI Recirculating Catch Can Kit is constructed from billet aluminum with a durable black anodize finish and features a convenient T-handle drain valve. Installation is straightforward, with all necessary adapter fittings and mounting hardware included. The kit is designed for a direct fit on specific EA888 Gen 1 & 2 engines. It is crucial to verify your engine is driven by a timing chain; if it uses a timing belt, you have an EA113 FSI engine and require a different kit (IEBACC1). Important fitment notes apply: This kit requires factory-style engine mounts. Aftermarket mounts that delete this mounting location will necessitate custom mounting. Additionally, this catch can kit is intended for warm weather climates only. In sub-freezing temperatures, condensation can freeze, building pressure in the crankcase. Users in cold climates must take extra precautions, such as frequent checking or removal during winter months. Integrated Engineering is not responsible for damage due to improper servicing.
