The STM Balance Shaft Eliminator Kit is specifically engineered for the 4G63 engine platform, offering a solution for removing the factory balance shaft system. This modification can potentially lead to a slight increase in oil pressure and a reduction in parasitic drag, especially beneficial in high-performance or racing applications. This comprehensive kit includes essential components for a proper balance shaft delete. You will receive one genuine OEM Mitsubishi stubby shaft (part number MD098626), one OEM Mitsubishi balance shaft cap (part number MD092785), and a set of ACL block-off bearings (part number 3BS8389-STD) to seal the balance shaft housing. This includes all 1992-2006 Mitsubishi Evolution I-IX models and the 1990-1999 1G & 2G DSM platforms, encompassing the Eclipse GST/GSX, Talon TSi, and Laser Turbo variants.
