The Texas Speed & Performance "Bald Eagle" LS2 N/A Camshaft is the naturally aspirated version of the camshaft used by Cleetus McFarland in his C5 Corvette, "Leroy." This camshaft is engineered for engines with cathedral-port cylinder heads that are not supercharged. It delivers a noticeable chop at idle, offering a more aggressive sound than its boosted counterpart, while remaining an easy camshaft to tune for proper operation. The recommended compression ratio for this cam is 10.1:1 or higher. Key specifications for the Bald Eagle N/A cam include an intake and exhaust duration at .050" of 227/234, respectively, with a .600"/.600" lift. It features a 111 LSA (Lobe Separation Angle) and a 109 ICL (Intake Centerline). This camshaft is best suited for 5.7L and 6.0L LS engines, operating effectively within a 2000-6600 RPM range. For optimal performance, an upgraded rear gear of at least 3.23 is recommended. Installation of this camshaft requires specific supporting modifications and considerations.
