Ball Joint Kit

This kit is designed for Dana 30 and Dana 44 front differentials, replacing both the upper and lower front ball joints on one side. The housing of this heavy-duty ball joint is CNC-machined from forged SAE 1045 carbon alloy steel, ensuring a longer joint life. The ball stud is crafted from induction heat-treated, hot-forged 4140 chromoly for unrivaled durability. The upper joint features a carbon steel bearing superior to OE designs, while the lower joint utilizes military-grade acetal bearings known for their anti-friction properties and dimensional stability. Protection against the elements is provided by a two-stage boot system. An outer synthetic Neoprene/CR boot, combined with an inner seal/pancake boot, safeguards the spherical joint and bucket from road grime, oil, gas, engine fluids, and extreme temperatures. The lower bearing also includes an angled zerk fitting for easier servicing. This comprehensive kit includes Grade 8 hardware, castle nuts, c-clips, cotter pins, and zerk fittings.
