This kit features a large digital display controller, a 13 ft. wiring harness, and an NTK production-grade sensor. It offers a standard measurement range for gasoline and can display air-fuel ratio values from 9.0:1 to 16.0:1 with 0.1 resolution. The HP Tuners Ballenger AFR500v3 Wideband Control Kit is an air-fuel-ratio (AFR) monitor specifically preconfigured for use with HP Tuners software. This professional-grade tool provides precise AFR measurement, crucial for accurately calibrating a vehicle's engine. It offers a linear analog output, allowing seamless integration with engine control systems, gauges, and data acquisition systems. Key features include a large, bright digital display controller (3.4 in. x 2.7 in. x 1.3 in.), a 13 ft. wiring harness with sealed connections, and an NTK production-grade sensor. The standard measurement range covers 9.0:1 to 16.0:1 AFR for gasoline, with a resolution of 0.1, offering excellent precision for performance tuning. The kit also includes a weld-in steel exhaust boss and plug, mounting Velcro, and a comprehensive installation, troubleshooting, and tuning manual. This wideband control kit provides a 0 to 5 V analog output signal and operates on 11 to 28 V input power, supporting 24 V systems. It boasts compatibility with most aftermarket ECUs and features a digitally derived output with an upgraded analog/digital converter, offering four times the measurement resolution of previous models (4096 increments vs. 1024). The custom board design replaces common ASIC chip failure points with enhanced protection and upgrade capabilities.
