The SCT Bama 4-Bank Eliminator Chip is engineered for 1994-1998 Mustang GT vehicles, offering a significant upgrade in performance. This custom chip enables drivers to switch between different tuning strategies in real-time, a key advantage over standard tuners. The package includes two custom Bama tunes, with the option for "Free Tunes for Life," allowing you to update your tunes as you add more modifications to your vehicle. When paired with Bama Custom Tunes, this chip is dyno-proven to deliver gains of 20HP and 30 ft-lb of torque or more for the 1994-1998 GT models. For vehicles with performance modifications like a Cold Air Intake, the Bama Custom Tune can unlock an additional 30HP and 40 ft-lb of torque. Automatic transmissions benefit from adjusted shift points and firmness, leading to improved acceleration and drivability. The chip is easy to install using the included 6ft cable and dial selector, and can just as easily be restored to factory settings. Included tunes like "Performance" (87-93 octane) focus on top-end horsepower and throttle response, while the "Race" tune (91-93 octane) offers the most aggressive settings for maximum performance, though it is recommended for "Race Use Only." Custom tunes typically take 2-3 business days to be written. Note that heavily modified cars may not be tunable with a mail-order tune. Membership in the "Tunes for Life" program is non-transferable and valid for the original owner of the car.
