The Banks Brake Exhaust Brake is designed for diesel trucks that frequently handle heavy loads or descend steep grades. It uses engine backpressure to safely reduce downhill speed by up to 52%, preserving wheel brakes for emergencies and reducing maintenance costs. When not in use, it increases engine power. It is up to 12% stronger than other exhaust brakes and features a computerized brake controller for maintenance-free operation and faster engine warm-ups, improving drivability. The system includes the CBC-SmartLock, housing assembly, vacuum actuator, vacuum pump, valve with shaft and bearing system, wire loom, and necessary hardware.
