Bar and Plate Core Intercooler

The Revo MQB Chassis Intercooler is engineered to significantly enhance the cooling capabilities of your vehicle's engine, particularly for MQB chassis vehicles with 1.8/2.0 TSI EA888 Gen 3 & EVO engines. It utilizes a unique bar and plate core design and fully cast end tanks to promote laminar flow, reduce turbulence, and maximize heat transfer. This design results in lower intake air temperatures and a minimized pressure drop, allowing the engine to produce more consistent and impressive power and torque, especially when paired with Revo Software. This design balances pressure retention with the core's cooling capacity. While it can be installed using stock pipework, Revo offers optional oil-resistant silicone hoses and larger diameter charge pipes separately or in a full kit for further airflow optimization. Revo's in-house research and development, utilizing 3D printing, CAD, CFD, and hub dyno testing, ensures the product maximizes heat transfer and minimizes pressure drop for retained power and torque throughout the rev range. Dyno testing demonstrated gains of up to +10 HP & +20 NM Torque compared to the stock Golf R intercooler, with superior power consistency over multiple runs.
