Engineered with a greater overall surface area, this intercooler core excels at increased heat absorption and dissipation. If you are running increased power levels, a larger intercooler is essential for sustaining performance over longer periods of load. When airflow and boost levels are significantly increased through tuning, the OEM intercooler can experience heat soak, leading to reduced horsepower and a higher chance of pre-detonation. The DCE Parts intercooler ensures that the air is properly cooled to maintain higher performance levels. The intercooler is constructed using a bar and plate design, which provides a more durable and stronger build. This construction allows it to withstand more boost pressure and tolerate external damage more effectively. It also includes a thermal heat dispersant for added durability.
