The bar and plate construction of the intercooler core contributes to a significant increase in volume and flow area compared to stock components, improving cooling efficiency. Designed with precision, this intercooler utilizes 4-axis CNC milling technology to ensure high accuracy and consistency. It integrates seamlessly into the tightly packaged engine bay of compatible Subaru models, maintaining factory fitment for the charge pipe, throttle body, and hood ducting. A key design element is the leak-resistant throttle body connection, secured by a pre-installed Double O-Ring, which guarantees a leak-free seal even at elevated boost levels. The unit is pressure tested in-house to ensure it is clean, sealed, and ready for installation. This top-mount intercooler is explicitly designed for: Subaru WRX (Base, Limited, Premium, GT) from 2022-2024, Subaru Ascent (Base, Limited, Touring, Onyx) from 2019-2023, Subaru Legacy XT (Sport, Touring) from 2020-2023, Subaru Outback XT (Base, Limited, Touring) from 2020-2023, and Subaru Outback Wilderness from 2021-2023. Importantly, this intercooler can be safely run on the factory calibration, meaning no tune is required for installation and operation.
