The Racing Dynamics Competition Intercooler is engineered for high-performance MINI Cooper S models from 2002-2006 (R53 hatchback) and 2005-2008 (R52 convertible), including JCW supercharged variants. This intercooler provides over 60% more capacity than stock units and increases frontal area for superior charge air cooling. Its bar and plate construction enhances heat dissipation and minimizes heat soak, recovering quickly from thermal load during demanding driving conditions like track events. The black powder-coated finish offers excellent corrosion resistance against environmental elements. Despite its large size, with a core measuring 232mm H x 305mm W x 62mm Thick, it is designed to fit in the OEM position. The intercooler also includes silicon hose snoot ends for easier installation. This intercooler is explicitly listed as fitting MINI Cooper S R53 models from 2002-2006 and R52 models from 2005-2008.
