Bar and Plate Intercooler

The Revo Intercooler is engineered to enhance the cooling capabilities of turbocharged engines, particularly those in the MQB 1.8 / 2.0TSI EA888 GEN3 platform. The intercooler boasts a robust bar and plate core design, optimized for efficient heat transfer and controlled pressure drop. Its fully cast end tanks are uniquely shaped to promote smooth, laminar internal flow, reducing turbulence and increasing airspeed into the core. This design not only enhances charge cooling but also allows for more power throughout the entire rev range. Compared to the stock intercooler, which struggles to manage temperatures, the Revo Intercooler offers a substantial improvement, with the capacity to lower intake air temperatures by up to 36ºC. This enhanced cooling efficiency means drivers can push their vehicles harder for longer periods without experiencing heat-related performance degradation. The unit features up to a 51% increase in core volume, utilizing the full space of the stock location and leveraging cold ambient air from the front of the vehicle. Installation is facilitated by stronger, oil-resistant silicone hoses and a precision CNC-machined bracket system, ensuring OEM fitment and durability.
