Bar and Plate Intercooler Kit

Following the success of their products for other Hyundai N models, Forge developed this intercooler to address the limitations of the stock unit. It boasts a larger volume, with a 27% increase over the OEM intercooler, and a 27% increase in frontal surface area. The intercooler utilizes a bar and plate design for efficient heat dissipation. Key upgrades include increased inlet and outlet diameters to 65mm, which is a 27% volume increase over the stock boost tract, improving flow. A custom hard pipe is also included, increasing the diameter to 64mm from the factory 50mm, designed to support high levels of tune and maximize performance gains. The intercooler and associated piping come in a durable black textured finish. Dyno testing on a Hyundai Kona N with a Stage 1 ECU calibration showed significant improvements. The Forge intercooler helped maintain inlet air temperatures around 27°C, compared to the OEM intercooler's struggle to keep temperatures below 48°C even after heat soak. This resulted in peak gains of 21 BHP and 28 NM of torque, with noticeable performance improvements from 3000 RPM. The intercooler is designed for installation in approximately 3 hours and comes with all necessary hardware.
