Developed in collaboration with N Club Tennessee and Milltek Corp (Forge USA), this intercooler utilizes Forge's industry-leading bar and plate technology, refined through advanced SolidWorks CAD modeling and CFD simulations. The intercooler boasts a substantial 111% increase in volume and a 58% boost in frontal surface area compared to the stock cooler, making it one of the largest and most effective upgrades available for the Elantra N. The inlet and outlet sizes have been increased to 65mm, providing a 27% volume increase over the factory unit to optimize airflow. Custom silicone hoses are included for seamless integration with surrounding engine components, ensuring maximum performance gains for vehicles at any tuning level. The unit is finished with a durable black textured powder coating. In controlled tests, after six consecutive dyno pulls, the Forge intercooler maintained IATs of 24°C, a significant improvement from the factory intercooler's 48°C in the same ambient conditions. This consistent cooling prevents the ECU from retarding ignition timing due to high intake air temperatures, thereby maintaining optimal engine performance and reducing the risk of accelerated engine wear in tuned vehicles.
