BAR-TEK 1.8T Tuning Kit Stage 4 GT28RS Turbocharger Kit

The BAR-TEK® 1.8T Tuning Kit Stage 4 is engineered to significantly enhance the performance of 1.8T engines found in vehicles like the Golf 4, Audi A3, Audi TT, and Seat Ibiza, originally producing 150 or 180 horsepower. This kit centers around a high-performance Garrett GT28RS turbocharger equipped with an internal wastegate, paired with a T25 high-flow cast nickel upgrade manifold. It includes a 3-inch exhaust housing and a 3-inch downpipe with clamps for self-assembly. Further enhancing performance, the kit incorporates 470cc Bosch injectors for increased fuel delivery, along with necessary oil and water lines and oil restrictors to ensure proper lubrication and cooling of the turbocharger. Race-spec Bosch spark plugs are also included for optimal ignition. A FORGE blow-off valve is provided to manage boost pressure and protect the turbo. Depending on exhaust system modifications and software tuning, this kit is capable of achieving up to 320 horsepower. For sustained durability at this power level, additional engine and component modifications may be necessary. The manufacturer reports achieving 510 PS in a test Golf using this kit with an E85 fuel, a GTX28 turbocharger, and other related modifications.
