The EngineQuest EQ-CH164A is a bare aluminum cylinder head engineered to meet or exceed original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications, ensuring reliable performance and durability. It is constructed from the highest grade of aluminum, featuring thicker decks for enhanced structural integrity and resistance to warping. This cylinder head boasts a superior port finish that promotes increased airflow, contributing to improved engine efficiency. The design is optimized to resist cracking, a common issue with cylinder heads, thereby extending the lifespan of your engine. With an open combustion chamber style and natural finish, it's ready for installation. Key specifications include accessory bolt holes drilled, standard exhaust and intake port locations, and iron valve guides. The cylinder head material is aluminum, and it comes as a bare unit, meaning valves, springs, retainers, and other internal components are not included and must be sourced separately. This cylinder head is specifically designed for the 2010 Toyota 4Runner and 2010 Toyota Tacoma models. Compatibility with other years or models is not indicated.
