The Gates 4219BG Barricade fuel hose is engineered for carbureted engines requiring low fuel permeation. Utilizing GreenShield technology, this hose offers exceptional resistance to fuel vapor loss, making it suitable for a wide range of fuel types including gasoline, ethanol blends (E10, E15, E85), 100% methanol, diesel, and biodiesel blends. Constructed from HNBR rubber and nitrile rubber with a fuel-resistant synthetic rubber and thermoplastic barrier tube, the 4219BG hose is built to withstand demanding conditions. It operates within a high temperature range of -40°C to +125°C (-40°F to +257°F) and maintains a working pressure of 50 psi, with a maximum working pressure of 250 psi and a minimum burst pressure of 175 psi. It also handles vacuum up to 24 In. Hg and features a minimum bend radius of 75 mm. This fuel hose meets SAE J30R14 T1 specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards for non-road fuel lines. However, it is crucial to note that the Gates 4219BG is not for fuel injection systems and should not be used for in-tank or gaseous fuels.
