BASE PLATE

Baseplates are vehicle-specific and custom-made to fit a specific vehicle year, make, and model. Roadmaster baseplates are integrated into the frame and undercarriage of the vehicle, connecting to existing holes and fasteners wherever possible, for a quick, easy installation. They are computer-tested using "Finite Element Analysis" to ensure structural integrity and maximum strength. Roadmaster baseplates are powder-coated for a durable finish and designed and crafted in the USA from raw steel. Late model baseplates have front arms that are easily removed when the vehicle isn’t being towed. This Direct-Connect style allows for direct tow bar connection, eliminating the need for a crossbar, and is recommended for motorhome-mounted tow bars.
