The Blue Ox Custom Base Plates are designed for flat towing a vehicle behind a motorhome or RV. They offer a custom, vehicle-specific fit that integrates with the vehicle frame, securely bolting into the chassis and providing a solid attachment for dinghy towing with a Blue Ox towing bar (sold separately). The unique design allows the towing baseplate to flex and absorb shock, spreading the weight evenly to minimize pressure on the suspension. Constructed from durable steel, these base plates are designed to be hidden beneath the vehicle body for an OEM look. Most models feature removable twist-lock tabs for an aesthetically pleasing appearance when not towing. Depending on the vehicle application, drilling is required for installation. The product is backed by a 3-year limited warranty and is made in the USA.
