Roadmaster baseplates are vehicle-specific and designed for a custom fit. They are integrated into the vehicle's frame and undercarriage, connecting to existing holes for quicker and easier installation (30% faster on average). Each design undergoes computer-simulated "Finite Element Analysis" (FEA) to ensure structural integrity and maximum strength. Roadmaster offers over 1,000 different baseplates, fitting nearly every towable vehicle made in the last 25 years. The baseplates feature a baked-on, powder-coated finish for durability. All late-model baseplates are manufactured with easily removable front arms for when the vehicle is not being towed. These products are designed and crafted in the USA from raw steel at their Vancouver, Washington facility. There are two types: Direct-Connect (for motorhome-mounted tow bars, eliminating the need for a crossbar) and Crossbar-Style (for car-mounted tow bars, accommodating Roadmaster tow bars and accessories using a crossbar and/or quick-disconnect system).
