The JBL BassPro SL 2 is an active car subwoofer kit engineered to enhance your vehicle's audio system with deep, rich bass. Its low-profile design allows it to fit discreetly under the front seat of many vehicles, making it an ideal upgrade for those seeking improved sound without sacrificing space. At its core, the BassPro SL 2 boasts an 8-inch (200mm) woofer paired with a powerful 125W RMS Class D digital amplifier. This combination generates minimal heat while delivering exceptional power. The amplifier features high-pass filters and limiters to ensure optimal performance at the upper limits of its capabilities, providing a clean and impactful bass response. The subwoofer itself is housed within a heavy-duty ABS enclosure. This powered subwoofer offers extensive control to fine-tune your audio experience. The manual crossover control ranges from 50Hz to 120Hz, allowing for a smooth transition between the subwoofer and your car's existing speakers. A level control lets you match the subwoofer's volume to your speaker system, and the bass boost feature (0dB to +9dB at 70Hz) helps you minimize peaks or dips in bass frequencies specific to your car's acoustic environment. For added convenience, the BassPro SL 2 includes both line-level and high-level inputs, and is compatible with the JBL GTO-RBC remote control for adjusting bass levels from the driver's seat.
