Overview

The Dorman 242-5530P battery terminal bus bar is a direct OE replacement designed to restore dependable electrical connections in your vehicle's charging and starting system. It features a solid copper conductor with polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulation, offering excellent conductivity and electrical safety. This bus bar includes a female terminal connector and is color-coded black and red for easy identification.

Constructed with an 11-gauge wire and measuring 15.3 inches in length, the 242-5530P addresses common issues like worn or corroded battery terminal bus bars, prevents voltage drops, and eliminates shorts due to damaged insulation. Installation is straightforward, requiring the battery to be disconnected and proper polarity to be observed.
