The HELLA 1559 Battery Master Switch is a robust solution for high-load applications, ideal for directly managing your main battery line. It offers instant power control, allowing you to quickly and safely disconnect your battery to prevent drain or electrical issues. The integrated switching key provides total control at your fingertips. Constructed for durability in harsh environments, this switch resists corrosion and vibration, ensuring reliable performance. It features a continuous amp rating of 100 amps with a surge rating of 2,500 amps for 10 seconds at 24V. The switch is designed with a M10 connecting thread, M10 x 1.5 pitch, and has two connectors. It operates via a turn knob with a normally open contact and is rated IP53 and IPX4 for protection against dust and water ingress. However, assembly and disassembly by qualified personnel are required. The switch is compatible with a wide range of vehicles and battery types, making it a versatile solution for various automotive and marine projects.
