The iWire Fuel Pump Controller Hardwire Kit provides a plug-and-play solution for your fuel pump upgrade, ensuring your engine receives the necessary fuel flow under all conditions, whether on the dyno, track, or daily driving. This kit addresses the limitations of stock wiring by drawing power directly from the battery, thus maximizing your fuel pump's performance and bypassing the factory Fuel Pump Controller's (FPC) 14v to 12v voltage step-down. By moving the power and ground wires out of the stock connector, this kit eliminates concerns of terminal failure. For users with Radium Hangers, the kit includes a specific harness adapter that ensures a painless installation without requiring any wire cutting, accommodating the connection differences between Radium and Subaru. Crucially, the iWire kit retains the FPC in the system, preserving the pump's low/medium/high settings for optimal efficiency and drivability. This allows the pump to deliver the correct fuel amount for varying conditions, preventing it from running at maximum speed constantly, which can lead to increased fuel temperatures and reduced horsepower. It also ensures the pump can shut off if there's a problem, such as an accident. This kit is expandable for future fuel system upgrades, accommodating changes in pump size or the addition of Radium hangers. It is compatible with a wide range of fuel pumps including various AEM, Walbro, and Deatschwerks models, as well as OEM stock pumps. For Visconti Hangers, select AEM 340 as the pump type.
