The Alpine PSS-22WRA is a comprehensive, weather-resistant sound system engineered specifically for 2011-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited models that do not feature a factory-equipped amplified sound system. This 1200-watt, 9-speaker package is designed to deliver impactful audio performance, whether the Wrangler's top is on or off. The system includes an under-seat 10-inch enclosed subwoofer, two pairs of 6.5-inch convertible component/coaxial speaker sets with 1-inch dome tweeters, a 4-channel compact amplifier, and a mono compact amplifier. It also comes with a remote bass knob, vehicle-specific harnesses, and mounting brackets for a straightforward installation. The speakers are configurable as component or coaxial and include adapters for front or rear placement. Durability is a key feature, with the PSS-22WRA boasting an IP55 rating, making it resistant to rain, wind, and dust. The subwoofer utilizes rust-resistant hardware, ready to handle water exposure from off-roading or quick rinses. The system is compatible with Alpine Restyle Jeep Wrangler dash systems, the Jeep factory base radio, or other aftermarket radios. Important fitment notes: This system is designed for 2011-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited models. It is NOT compatible with factory premium sound systems. For a true plug-and-play experience, the system is intended for Automatic transmission JKU models only. Installation on manual JK models is not supported due to potential interference with the clutch pedal lever and lack of mounting holes for the amplifier bracket.
