The Harley Davidson 33397-07A Standard Forward Control Kit is designed to offer the stretched-out look and extended riding position that many riders desire for their Sportster models. This complete kit includes all necessary hardware to convert from mid-controls to forward controls, providing a significant change in ergonomics for improved long-range comfort and a custom aesthetic. The kit provides an extended riding position, allowing for a more relaxed posture on longer journeys. Please note that footpegs and the shifter peg are not included with this kit and must be purchased separately. For the XL1200L model, separate purchase of footpegs with part numbers 33134-07CAZ and 33135-07CAZ is required. This forward control kit is compatible with 2006-2013 XL models equipped with mid-controls. However, it explicitly excludes the XL1200CP and XL1200CA models. Additionally, this kit is not approved for 2016 models, with fitment cutting off at 2013. It's also important to be aware that these forward controls may not fit with certain aftermarket headers.
