The Benz Werks Performance BB950 PLUS Twin Scroll Turbocharger is a direct replacement for your Mercedes AMG M157 engine, engineered to support power levels over 950 HP without compromising the turbocharger's integrity. This assembly offers a plug-and-play installation, replacing the OEM turbocharger unit. The turbo features a CNC-machined compressor housing with an 11-blade billet wheel and a proprietary cast turbine wheel optimized for reduced back pressure. A custom turbocharger shaft enhances rotation stability, while custom journal bearings are utilized for improved spool characteristics and reliability, distinguishing it from ball-bearing setups. The entire rotating assembly is precision-balanced for optimal performance. This BB950 PLUS turbocharger is presented as the ideal upgrade for those seeking maximum power output without sacrificing spool response. The manufacturer highlights near-OEM spool delay with competitive high-end power delivery, even when compared to turbos with larger compressor housings. Installation is designed as a bolt-on process.
