BBC 502 Short Block Assembly

Brand-new Partial engine with forged reciprocating components, balancer, oil pan, and timing chain set. Designed for customizing big block engines, used in Chevrolet Performance's ZZ502. Gen VI 4-bolt Main with 1-Pc Rear Main Seal, Priority Oiling for Main Bearings, Externally Balanced Forged, Shot-Peened and Magnafluxed Crankshaft, Forged Steel 'Dimple' Connecting Rods, Forged Aluminum Pistons, Single-Roller Heavy-Duty Timing Set, Hydraulic Roller Tappet Camshaft, Timing Cover Included, 6 Qt. Truck Type Oil Pan (will not fit Chevelle, Camaro, Nova or Impala), 14 Inch Flexplate, 8 Inch Harmonic Balancer. Clutch linkage bosses drilled and tapped, mechanical fuel pump boss included. Comes with an externally balanced 14'' automatic transmission flexplate. Use flywheel P/N 809-14096987 and 11'' clutch assembly for manual transmission applications. Designed for pre-1976 street vehicles or any off-road vehicle. Not intended for marine applications. For long blocks and partial engines with steel camshafts, a distributor with a melanized steel gear (Distributor #809-93440806 recommended) must be used to prevent engine damage.
