Description

Callies Compstar 4340 Forged Steel Crankshaft, Chevrolet BB 454 Main Ctr Counterweight. Designed by Callies engineers, rough machined to their specification on 4340 material forgings, then finished in Callies own facility. Properly placed counterweights improve balance and reduce bearing loads. Hardened with a deep nitride, ideal for abusive dirt track environments. All rod journals are drilled and counterweights are profiled for piston clearance. Requires narrowed bearings.
