Description

The JE Pistons 257986S is a set of high-performance pistons designed for Chevrolet Big Block engines. These pistons feature a flat-top design with -3.00cc valve reliefs that can accommodate oversized valves and aggressive camshafts. They are constructed from 2618 forged aluminum for enhanced durability and strength.

Designed for compatibility with forced induction or nitrous applications, these pistons utilize precision CNC-machined ring grooves accepting 1/16, 1/16, 3/16 rings. They are suitable for both open and closed chamber cylinder heads, including those that are angle-milled. The compression height is calculated based on a 9.780" block height with zero deck clearance.
