Overview

The Race Tec Pistons 1000246 is a set of eight AutoTec forged pistons designed for Big Block Chevy engines. These pistons feature a flat top with one valve relief and have a 4.500 inch bore and a 4.000 inch stroke.

With a compression height of 1.645 inches, these pistons utilize 1.5mm top and second ring grooves, and a 3.0mm oil ring groove. They are constructed from 4032 alloy and have a crown volume of -3cc, suitable for various Big Block Chevy displacements including 396, 427, 454, and 572.
