Description

This set of 10 CP-Carrillo PRO-H piston connecting rods, including WMC rod bolts, is a direct replacement for the original connecting rods on the BMW S85 10-cylinder engine. Each connecting rod is forged from Carrilloy, a proprietary steel alloy containing chrome, nickel, moly, and vanadium. For enhanced strength and durability, the rods are heat-treated and shot-peened. The included WMC rod bolts are made from H11 tool steel, designed to withstand approximately 15-18 torque cycles, a material commonly utilized in highly stressed aerospace components. These connecting rods are proudly made in the USA.
