Overview

The Howards Cams 242372-10 is a solid flat tappet camshaft designed for street/strip use. It features advertised durations of 285 intake and 291 exhaust, with valve lifts of 0.606 inches on the intake and 0.618 inches on the exhaust. This camshaft operates in a basic RPM range of 3,800 to 7,800.

Constructed with 100 percent Rockwell-checked and Parkerized components, this camshaft utilizes high-grade, race-quality cores. It is ground on dedicated, high-precision machines. The camshaft requires valve springs and has an intake and exhaust valve lash setting of 0.022 inches. It is not computer-controlled compatible.
