RacingLine’s stunning Stage 3 Forged Monoblock 6-piston Big Brake upgrade is simply a level above anything else on the market, packed with motorsport-inspired features. Designed without compromise for ultimate stopping performance, this kit features 355mm discs (requiring a minimum of 18" wheels), and stunning Bright Red calipers. The design vision was made possible by advanced 5-axis CNC manufacturing techniques, giving this kit more in common with top-level motorsport components. Each lightweight Forged Monoblock caliper is a one-piece construction from a single ultra-strong forged billet, making it stiffer and lighter than any other 6-piston caliper. The kit is engineered exclusively for VWG cars, with piston sizes defined to match VWG’s master cylinders and servos for progressive pedal response. The caliper, pads, and bracket assembly together weigh 11.7lb (5.3kg) vs 18.9lb (8.6kg) for the stock Golf 7R / S3 equivalent. The kit offers a choice of 355mm or 380mm fully-floating ‘triple-grove’ two-piece rotors made from a mixture of high-quality steel and carbon, providing a higher friction coefficient. The fully floating mounting between the rotor and top hat bell allows for thermal expansion and contraction to avoid cracking, and anti-rattle mounts keep it quiet. The 355mm rotor kit requires 18” rims or more for clearance; the 380mm must have a minimum of 19” wheels. Composite Ceramic Fast-Road Pads are included, and the kit utilizes a generic pad size for wide compatibility with alternative pad brands. This Stage 3 Brake Kit comes with everything needed for installation: rotors, calipers, mounting brackets, fast road pads, braided steel lines, and optional RacingLine’s Hub Adaptors for extra wheel clearance on OEM wheels.
