This kit serves as a replacement for the gaskets included with the BBK Phenolic Spacer Kit Part 1506, or as a direct replacement for stock gaskets. The gaskets are used between the upper and lower manifolds to create an air-tight seal, preventing erratic idle issues that can arise from vacuum leaks.
