The EBC SG2FK-031 is a high-quality 2-piece floating SD-Rotor designed for the front of performance vehicles. These discs feature outer friction rings cast from a high-copper, high-carbon G3500 disc alloy, and bells precision-machined from aerospace-grade aluminum with a hard-anodized finish. EBC's patented SD-Drive technology utilizes stainless steel bobbins that allow the friction ring to expand and contract freely by up to 3mm under extreme heat, preventing corrosion and ensuring silent operation with anti-rattle spring clips. This design reduces unsprung rotational mass, improving handling, fuel economy, and wheel BHP. The outer friction ring is replaceable, extending the lifespan and reducing long-term costs.
