The BBS CC-R wheel features a distinctive 3D look from five graphite-colored spokes overlaid by five diamond-cut Y-shaped spokes. Engineered for lightweight performance, it utilizes a one-piece counter-pressure cast with a flow-formed rim and a back-milled spoke area. The wheel also incorporates a stainless steel rim protector and is weight-optimized through FEM analysis. BBS has employed flow-forming technology since 1996, a process using continuous rotational motion with hydraulic rollers and pressure at high temperatures to form the inner rim area, enhancing mechanical properties, strength, stiffness, and impact resistance at a lower cost than forged wheels.
