The BBS CH-R Wheel is a one-piece counter pressure cast wheel with a flow-formed rim. It features a back-milled spoke area for optimal weight and a replaceable stainless-steel rim protector. The 'Motorsport' laser engraving is in the center of the wheel. The flow-forming process, which BBS has used since 1996, utilizes continuous rotational motion with hydraulic rollers and high pressure at elevated temperatures to form the inner rim area. This process enhances the mechanical properties of the cast rim, increasing its strength, stiffness, and impact resistance while maintaining a high stiffness-to-weight ratio, offering performance comparable to a forged wheel at a lower cost.
