BBS employs a meticulous manufacturing process starting with design sketches and prototyping in their in-house studio in Schiltach. The wheels are crafted through a low-pressure casting process, followed by X-ray inspections for quality control. They undergo thermal treatment and a flow forming process where the rim is rolled out under high pressure to compact the material and enhance strength. Precision CNC machining, deburring, and hand-finishing ensure each wheel meets exact specifications. Finally, a multi-stage lacquer finish is applied at their Herbolzheim paint shop for a perfect shine and long-lasting quality.
