The BBS RI-A wheel is a one-piece die-forged aluminum wheel featuring BBS's patented milling process inside the spoke area. It is weight-optimized by FEM analysis and utilizes flow-forming technology, a process where the inner rim area is rolled under high pressure and temperature to increase strength, stiffness, and impact resistance. The manufacturing process includes thermal treatment, precision machining (drilling, milling, turning with specialized CNC machines), and a lacquer finish for durability and aesthetics.
