The BBS XR Wheel is a one-piece counter pressure cast alloy wheel, weight-optimized through FEM analysis. It utilizes a flow-forming process, which BBS has been employing since 1996. This procedure involves continuous rotational motion with three hydraulic rollers and intense pressure at high temperatures to "Form" the inner rim area. This process enhances the mechanical properties of the cast rim, increasing strength, stiffness, and impact resistance for a high level of performance, at a cost lower than a forged wheel. The design features a total of seven clearly shaped Y-spokes, blending classic BBS aesthetics with a contemporary look.
