The BR series coilovers use a large 46mm diameter piston in a 53mm diameter damper body to maximize oil capacity. This increases the unit's capacity, which increases the volume of oil contained, reducing peak temperature and significantly improving damper performance.

**Corner Weight Adjustment:** The lower spring platform is adjustable, allowing for corner weighting to achieve perfect balance and maximum tire efficiency.

**Ride Height Adjustment:** Ride height is determined by the position of the coilover bottom mount, which can be wound up and down the damper body. This allows for a full range of adjustment from near standard ride height to very low, while retaining full damper travel.

**Damping Adjustment:** BR coilovers feature 30-way damping adjustment that combines both rebound and compression in one adjuster for simplicity. This facility allows fine-tuning to meet relevant conditions, adjusting handling characteristics by tweaking front and rear damping.

**Pillowball (Rose Joint) Upper Mount:** Many BC Racing BR coilovers come with pillowball upper mounts made from anodized, bead-blasted aluminum alloy. Japanese-manufactured pillowballs eliminate flex from standard rubber mounts, improving response and handling.

**Camber Adjustment:** Where possible, BC Racing coilovers include camber-adjustable aluminum pillowball top mounts, allowing camber to be set for road, track, or drift use.

**Corrosion Protection:** Damper units are black chromed steel for durability. Aluminum components are anodized, and steel lower mounts undergo an electrophoretic disposition process followed by powder coating. Components are salt spray tested monthly.

**High Quality Coil Springs:** BC Racing coilovers use SAE9254 high-strength durable cold-wound steel springs, compression tested through over 500,000 cycles with less than 5% deformation.

**Patented Concave Lower Locking Collar:** An innovative, patented lower locking collar with a beveled edge seats into a corresponding bevel in the coilover bottom mount. This significantly increases the surface area the locking collar works on, preventing the common problem of locking collars working loose.

**High Quality Oil:** BC Racing dampers use a sophisticated shim stack design and high-quality oil to consistently control compression and rebound speed. This ensures consistent viscosity under a wide temperature operating range, maximizing longevity.

**Nitrogen Pressurized Dampers:** Dampers are pressurized with nitrogen to dramatically reduce oil aeration and cavitation, improving damping consistency and quality. The pressurized nitrogen also adds an additional element of effective spring rate.

**Bearing Mounted Upper Spring Platform:** By reducing stiction between the spring and its seats, BC Racing units avoid problems like spring binding and loosening spring perches, improving steering efficiency and allowing the spring and damper to work as designed.
