Description

The Carrillo 8976SET connecting rods are part of a CP-Carrillo Hybrid Piston and Connecting Rod Kit for 6.4L Cummins engines. These rods are 8.415″ long and pair with DH710x pistons using a Duramax pin. This combination significantly reduces rotating assembly weight by ~2lbs per cylinder (12lbs total). Manufactured from proprietary 4330m alloy forging, they are available with WMC-H7 (H11) bolts (220ksi UTS) or upgraded CARR-S7 (MP35N) bolts (285ksi UTS, recommended for >6000rpm). Bolts feature asymmetrical threads for even clamp load. Rods include a Mahle steel bushing, with optional Cap Relief for improved oil evacuation in high-load applications. Made in USA.
