Description

Carrillo connecting rods are made from a proprietary alloy, forged to custom specifications, and fully machined. They undergo heat treatment, magnaflux inspection, hardness testing, and final machining. Each set is balanced and shot-peened for strength and fatigue properties. This set includes Carrillo H11 tool steel (WMC) bolts, which are aircraft standard fasteners with asymmetrical threads for even clamp load and improved fatigue life. H11 bolts are recommended for periodic replacement under racing conditions and are good for approximately 15-18 torque cycles.
