The BD Diesel 1047135 Howler VGT Controller Kit is a plug-and-play device that enables the use of a 6.7L VGT turbocharger on a 2003-2007 Dodge 5.9L common rail truck. It features integrated exhaust brake control with an included toggle switch, allowing for custom tuning and adjustment of boost pressure and exhaust braking. This kit aims to enhance performance and driveability. For 2003-2005 pickups, it's suggested to use a 1030395 Torqloc (separate part) to improve exhaust brake performance as these models do not maintain torque converter lockup on deceleration. This product has met EPA's reasonable basis requirements and is legal for sale and use within the jurisdiction of the federal EPA.
