BD Diesel Transmission Kit - 2005-2007 Dodge 48RE 4WD TVV w/ Tap Shifter & Billet Input

The BD Diesel TorqueMaster 48RE Transmission is a heavy-duty automatic transmission upgrade for 2005-2007 Dodge 4WD trucks with a TVV Stepper Motor and 5.9L Cummins engine. It enhances durability and power handling with an upgraded valve body, increased line pressure (190-200 psi), and a drilled intermediate shaft for improved lubrication. Internal components include billet band struts, a billet band lever, and a billet fine spline input shaft. Clutch counts are optimized with 6 OD, 10 OD Direct, 5 Forward, and 6 Direct clutches, and it uses a high-temperature/energy Raybestos band. The unit includes an upgraded governor pressure transducer (twice the burst pressure of stock) and governor solenoid, a cooler line case saver, and a BD auxiliary full-flow filter kit. A BD rigid aluminum heavy-duty transmission pan with heat-dissipating fins and a magnetic drain plug adds 2 quarts of oil capacity. It's "TapShifter ready" with a new gear lever, display, and control module for electronic gear selection, torque converter lock-up, and full manual mode. Installation is estimated at 7 hours and 30 minutes. Not warranted for race or sled pull use.
